About Us
What is The Mirror & Masque Theatre Company?
Mirror & Masque is a nonprofit theatre company dedicated to producing engaging, high-quality live performances while enriching our community through education, collaboration, and the arts.
What does it mean that you're a nonprofit?
As a nonprofit organization, we exist to serve our community rather than generate profits. Ticket sales cover only a portion of our operating expenses, so donations, sponsorships, grants, and volunteers help make our productions possible.
Where are you located?
Our administrative office is located in Riverhead, NY. Performance venues vary by production and will always be listed on our event pages.
Tickets
How can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through our website or at the venue’s box office before each performance, subject to availability.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! We may offer discounts for students, seniors, military members, educators, and groups. Check each production's ticket page for current pricing.
Can I exchange or refund my tickets?
Unless a performance is canceled, tickets are generally non-refundable. Exchanges may be available depending on availability.
Are your performances family-friendly?
Each production is different. We recommend checking the show's page for age recommendations and any content advisories.
Is your venue accessible?
We strive to make our performances accessible. Please contact us before your visit if you have questions about wheelchair seating, hearing assistance, or other accommodations.
Donations & Sponsorship
Why should I donate?
Your support helps us produce quality theatre, provide educational opportunities, pay artists fairly whenever possible, and keep the performing arts accessible to our community.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. As a registered nonprofit organization working with The Oberon Foundation as our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
How can I become a sponsor?
Businesses and individuals can sponsor productions, educational programs, or special events. Sponsorship opportunities and benefits are available on our Support Page on this Website.
Where does my donation go?
Contributions help fund:
Production Licensing
Artist stipends
Costumes and sets
Educational programming
Youth initiatives
Facility and operating expenses
Community outreach
Checks can be made out to The Oberon Foundation with a memo of “Mirror & Masque”.
Auditions
How can I audition?
Auditions are announced on our website and social media pages. Anyone is welcome to audition unless otherwise noted.
Do I need theatre experience?
Not necessarily! We encourage performers of all experience levels to audition.
Are performers paid?
Generally we strive to compensate all of our Artists. Payment depends on each production and available funding. Audition notices will specify whether roles are paid, stipend-based, or volunteer.
