ROBERT R. DOYLE
Robert, a Long Island native, is the Co-Founder and Co-Producing Artistic Director of The Mirror & Masque Theatre Company, where, with his Co-Founder Dayne Rasmussen, he oversees the company's artistic vision, season programming, and creative collaborations. As a Theatre Practitioner, Robert has over 20 years of experience in live theatre and has worked with organizations including The Long Island Shakespeare Festival, The American Players Theatre (which recently won the 2026 Tony Award for Best Regional Theatre), Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Children’s Theatre of Madison, The Illinois Shakespeare Festival, The Door County Shakespeare Festival, Asylum Players, as well as his own Theatre Companies - Royal Productions LTD., The Refugee Players, and Two Crows Theatre Company. His acting credits include Enjolras in Les Miserables, Tom in The Glass Menagerie, Antony in Julius Caesar, Macbeth in Macbeth, Slender in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Friar Lawrence in Romeo & Juliet, Michael in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, Bill Reach in Down the Road, and Cyrano in Cyrano de Bergerac. His Costume Design Credits include Seascape by Edward Albee, Romeo & Juliet and As You like It by William Shakespeare, and Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. As a Producer he has brought over 25 productions to the stage including The Santaland Diaries, The Belle of Amherst, Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, Pvt. Wars, The How & The Why, Down The Road, The Thin Place, and his Original Musical “Dear Writer/ Dear Actress” along with his co-authors Marcus Truschinski and Eric Schabla. His work is driven by a passion for new works, classical and contemporary theatre, community engagement, arts education, diverse storytelling, and a commitment to creating meaningful experiences for artists and audiences alike. Through Mirror & Masque, Robert is dedicated to producing high-quality, accessible theatre that enriches the community and celebrates the transformative power of the performing arts.

Dayne Rasmussen is a Long Island–based actor, producer, and creative visionary, and the Co-Founder and Co-Producing Artistic Director of The Mirror & Masque Theater Company. Known for his commanding presence, emotional depth, and entrepreneurial spirit, Dayne is passionate about creating bold, visually striking, and emotionally resonant theatre that challenges perception, sparks conversation, and leaves a lasting impact on audiences. With experience spanning both stage and screen, Dayne has built a diverse body of work in theatre and independent film. Select stage credits include Deceived at Bay Street Theater, Now and Then and Strictly Murder with Hampton Theatre Company, and 12 Angry Men at The Suffolk. His independent film work further showcases his range, versatility, and dedication to the craft of storytelling. He is currently co-producing and starring in The Elephant Man - the inaugural production of The Mirror & Masque Theater Company—a powerful and ambitious debut that reflects his commitment to impactful, transformative theatre.

Dave Cohen serves as Marketing Director for Mirror & Masque. A professional comedic actor with more than 20 years of experience, Dave has performed with The Second City in Chicago and Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. He was drawn to Mirror & Masque by the opportunity to help build something bold, unexpected, and entirely new within the Long Island theatre community. Through his work, he brings together a passion for performance, storytelling, and creative audience engagement.
